Labrador Retrievers have been in our family for over 30 years. Working training and breeding these lovely dogs has given us three generations of pleasure and pride.

At Sixbridges our dogs are first and foremost part of our family. They live with us in our home and are kept in top condition with quality feeding and plenty of exercise.

Regular check up visits to the vet maintains sound health.

In return they bestow upon us the unique unconditional love and loyalty synonymous of the Labrador.

Sixbridges is a small family run "hobby" kennel. As such our primary goal is for an improvement with every breeding.

We pay special attention to genetics, inherited diseases in particular, and strive to "breed out " problems such as dysplasia and GPRA. To this end we would never breed with a dog or bitch unless they were Hip Scored to within limits set by the Kennel Club Accreditted Breeder Scheme and had regular eye examinations by a B.V.A accreditted vet.

We have reared many beautiful puppies who have become strong, intelligent much loved family members. We have regular contact with most of our litter owners who know we are there for continued help and support should they need it. The kind gentle nature so characteristic of the breed is a trait we nurture in our dogs and promote in our puppies.
